Image Metadata Viewer
Load a JPEG image to extract embedded EXIF metadata: camera make and model, capture date and time, ISO, orientation, GPS coordinates, and more. Also shows image dimensions and file size. Processed entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
View basic image file information and a small supported subset of JPEG EXIF metadata directly in your browser without sending the selected image to a server.
How to view image metadata
- Choose an image file from your device.
- Review file name, size, MIME type, and browser-reported pixel dimensions.
- For JPEG files, inspect any supported EXIF fields that the built-in parser can read.
Metadata coverage
The JPEG parser supports selected tags such as camera make and model, orientation, resolution, software, date and time, ISO, flash, exposure mode, white balance, and pixel dimensions, although the UI displays only part of that set.
This is a minimal EXIF reader, not a complete metadata extractor for every EXIF, XMP, IPTC, PNG, WebP, or proprietary field.
Privacy and limitations
The image is read locally in your browser. No metadata lookup or upload is performed, and unsupported or malformed metadata may simply be omitted.

Why are some camera fields missing?
The file may not contain them or the minimal parser may not support them.
