Open Graph Preview

Paste HTML or enter Open Graph and Twitter metadata to see a browser-local sharing preview example. External images are never loaded, and the neutral cards do not reproduce or guarantee any platform’s actual rendering.

Browser-local No signup required Web

Preview supported Open Graph and Twitter card metadata from pasted HTML or manual fields while showing which Twitter values fall back to Open Graph values.

How to preview social metadata

  1. Choose HTML mode and paste source, or switch to manual mode and enter supported metadata fields.
  2. Analyze or edit the fields to update the example Open Graph and Twitter-style cards.
  3. Review missing fields and the source badges that show whether Twitter values came from Twitter metadata, Open Graph fallback, or are missing.

How the preview works

Supported fields include Open Graph title, description, image, image alt, URL, type, site name, plus Twitter card, title, description, image, and image alt.

The preview does not load the supplied image URL. It renders a placeholder with the URL and metadata, and Twitter title, description, image, and alt can fall back to matching Open Graph values.

Privacy and limitations

Everything runs in the browser from pasted or manually entered metadata. This is an illustrative card preview, not an exact simulator of X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Discord, or another platform, and it does not fetch pages or images.

Open Graph Preview FAQ

Does it download the og:image?

No. The image URL is displayed as metadata but is not fetched.

Can I enter values manually?

Yes. Manual mode provides fields for the supported Open Graph and Twitter metadata.

Does Twitter metadata fall back to Open Graph?

For title, description, image, and image alt, the preview shows the implemented Open Graph fallback when the Twitter value is empty.

Is this an exact social platform preview?

No. Real platforms have their own crawlers, caches, layouts, and truncation rules.

Can pasted HTML execute scripts?

Active and resource-loading markup is removed before detached parsing.
