GCD & LCM Calculator

Enter two or more positive integers (comma or space separated) to instantly compute their GCD and LCM. Also shows the prime factorization of each input number. Runs entirely in your browser.

Browser-local No signup required Utility

Calculate the greatest common divisor and least common multiple of two or more positive integers, and also display a simple prime-factor breakdown for every entered value.

How to calculate GCD and LCM

  1. Enter at least two positive integers separated by spaces, commas, or semicolons.
  2. Wait briefly for the automatic calculation.
  3. Read the GCD and LCM results.
  4. Review the displayed prime factors for each input value.

Input and calculation behavior

Input tokens are parsed with parseInt(), so this tool is intended for positive integers. Zero, negative values, and fewer than two values are rejected.

GCD uses the Euclidean algorithm, LCM is built from pairwise GCD results, and factorization uses trial division. Very large inputs can be slow or lose integer precision because JavaScript Number arithmetic is used.

Privacy and limitations

The calculation runs locally in the browser and this application does not send the entered integers to an external server. It is suited to ordinary positive integers, not arbitrary-precision values; large products can exceed safe integer precision even before they become Infinity.

GCD and LCM Calculator FAQ

How many numbers can I enter?

Two or more values are accepted; there is no explicit small fixed count limit in the interface.

Can I enter zero or negative numbers?

No. This implementation accepts positive integers only.

How are values separated?

Spaces, commas, and semicolons are accepted as separators.

Does it show prime factors?

Yes. Each entered number is factorized with simple trial division.

Can very large LCM values be inaccurate?

Yes. JavaScript Number precision and range limit very large integer calculations.
